World Connection Publishing is part of World Connection B.V. a limited company that also includes a booking & management agency and record label. It actively maintains contacts with an international network of live world music promoters, musicians, (sub)publishers, journalists and DJs. World Connection was founded in April 1998 and is dedicated to contemporary world music which is accessible to a wide audience. Its active catalogue includes such internationally renowned artists as the fado star Mariza, contemporary afro-Portuguese singer-songwriter Sara Tavares, Esma Redzepova, Queen of the Gypsies, Yanka, the Voice of the Les Mystère des Voix Bulgares, and acclaimed newcomers Neco Novellas from Mozambique, crossover Bole 2 Harlem from Ethiopia and Harlem, Blick Bassy from Cameroon and soulful singer-songwriter Netsayi from Zimbabwe.

To enhance the promotion of the world music compositions it represents, World Connection Publishing has built a b2b website from scratch to provide music supervisors and other professional music users with an efficient and convenient tool to find the right track for their purposes. At present the website includes 1807 tracks, about 500 of which are from the World Connection and Otrabanda Records labels. World Connection Publishing is looking expand its catalogue by representing other independent world music labels and composers in various territories. We can offer a range of contracts from exclusive full service catalogue representation to a non-exclusive, no cure no pay selected track agreement. You can also submit your music as a label or musician for inclusion on the website and network of international publishing.

World Connection can provide you with high quality music from around the globe from independent musicians and labels for your film, television program, commercial, video game or compilation. The majority of our catalogue is pre-cleared. Our service also provides a stable of experienced world musicians who can compose to suit your needs.
